Welcome to Suzuki Music Institute of Dallas

 

Established in 1968, Suzuki Music Institute of Dallas (SMID) offers world-class education using the Suzuki Method in violin, viola, cello, piano, harp, music theory, and music composition. Recognized as an established institute for classical music training specializing in the Suzuki method talent education approach, SMID is home to over 300 students worldwide.

 

SMID also offers a unique program, Kodomo Music , for infants and toddlers that combines the use of the Suzuki repertoire with musical awareness, pitch, rhythm and movement activities.
